Well I've had a blog or two in my day, pretty much to talk about my crazy stupid times. I've grown up now... kind of :)
So at this moment in time, I am avoiding the pile of work that sits beside me courtesy of Randy Jesick. I've become a better student, but I still have the problem of procrastinating. I've realized I actually do work better under pressure though. I guess that is a good thing when wanting to be a reporter though.
Being a journalism major sure is a lot more work than I think most people give us credit for though! I'm not even kidding. We have as much work, if not more, than what would be considered "difficult majors". Journalism is something that if you're gonna do, you better love it.
I really want a 4.0 this semester. This past Fall semester didn't fare too well for me. But what can you expect when I had TWO science classes. Next to math, science is my worst subject. I hear words like "tectonic" and "polar" and I automatically get confused.. then bored.. then suddenly I'm in another world, haha
I've decided that I am not going for this political science major that I had planned. Although I am already halfway to obtaining one, it's so much more work than I honestly need. Plus, I'm back to debating between going into a career in reporting or a career in PR.
Life decisions are difficult. Being a junior is SUPER difficult.
I have to figure out my internship stuff, which hopefully I will have all straightened out by Thursday. Then sometime this summer I have to find the time (and money!) to take the GRE's!
I am really hoping I do well on those so I can get into grad school at the University of Georgia. I want to move there sooooo bad. I love Georgia. And I am SO SICK of Pennsylvania. Especially Indiana.
Well I guess to achieve all these goals, I better get back to work on my PR homework.
Did I mention being a journalism major is difficult?
